NOTE: For the Bond machines (but can be done on other machines as well): Put your black hem over your needles, lay the elastic, or better yet ravel cord of crochet cotton. Bring hem over the cord as you normally do. Then knit about 6 rows WY. Bring needles out to HP and push work behind open latches. Now with your MY do a closed cast on suck as the e-wrap or latch tool (crochet) cast on. This way you have the extra work below that won't interfere with you hanging the claw weights.
